Age Limit:

Candidates age should be 15 to 20 years for Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Uphoster, 15 to 22 years for Fitter, Electrician, R&AC, Wire man, 15 to 24 years for MLT, Winder, Cable Jointer, Turner, Macxhinist, Mechanic, MMV s on 01-10-2016. Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates.
 

Educational Qualification For Southern Railway recruitment 2016:

Candidates should possess 10th class under 10+2 system of education or equivalent for Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic, 8th class under 10+2 system of education or equivalent for Carpenter, Painter, Upholster, Welder, 12th class under 10+2 system of education or equivalent for MLT & ITI in relevant trade.
