Oracle SQL Proficiency

Oracle PL/SQL Proficiency

Strong knowledge of querying, stored procedures, packages, functions, cursors, triggers etc in Oracle 11g

Ability to write efficient, complex queries against very large data sets

Oracle query tuning knowledge is must & understanding of database performance tuning is necessary

Oracle 11g experience, 12c understanding

Unix & Windows Scripting experience

Strong analytical skills & problem solving skills

Strong written communication skills & excellent spoken English skills

Requirement gathering and Design review

Status tracking and Status reporting to Stakeholders

Participates in the QA process through code review, test case and release notes preparation and 

certification of software

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Works under general supervision; typically reports to a Project Lead.

Good grasp of technology and tools used for development

Good design skills and architectural skills in the technical area

Fair understanding of project management skills

Fair amount of domain expertise gained through working on the application or certification programs 

(if working in a vertical)

Good understanding of the sphere of activities in a horizontal domain

Has to manage escalations, do complex problem diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Ability to quickly learn new business and technical concepts & large business applications in a fast 

paced service focused environment

Candidate should have experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously

Candidate should have exposure to the configuration management tool like start team, VSS Visual 

source safe, CVS- Concurrent version system, Rational Clear Case

Candidate should have exposure/ knowledge of Release Management will be added advantage

Candidate should able to prepare technical document like Data dictionary, Flow charts, Data flow diagrams etc.
