Job Description :

Design and develop scalable web applications using Java, JEE, Spring, JSF and other open source technologies

Work with and assist front end developers using HTML5, CSS and Javascript

Design and develop RESTful web services

Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies

Skills and Experience:

3- 7 years experience developing applications software

Ability to work with HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript including jQuery and backbone

Experience developing RESTful web services using JEE/Java/Spring

Experience using node.js to build scalable web services a plus

Experience with other open source frameworks a plus (PHP, Rails, Grails, Django or similar)

Experience with Oracle, MySql, or PostgreSQL and use of Hibernate, ORMs and/or jdbc

Experience with NoSql databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB a plus

Understanding of document description languages such as JSON and XML

Clear understanding of software development best practices

Demonstrated experience working with teams using agile methodologies

Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and proper Git Flow

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Good communicator and team player with strong organizational skills

Ability to be proactive, find solutions and meet deadlines

A good sense of humor and a passion for technology
